Hastings Woodworkers Guild was formed on 22nd June 1994 with 16 members. In 1995 the group moved to the Wauchope Showgrounds. As the Guild’s membership grew, it was necessary to relocate. We now have over 60 members with a shed size of 400 sq metres. We are now located at Timbertown Heritage Theme Park on the Oxley Hwy at Wauchope in the Hastings Valley NSW.

The Guild operates seven days a week, members are rostered on one day a month, except Wednesday & Saturday. Wednesday & Saturday are our main working days, and one Saturday per month is set aside so that members can become accredited on the use of our machines.

Monthly Meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of the month and a Show & Tell session of members work and lunch is provided at a minimal cost.      Guests speakers are invited to attend some of these meetings.

The Guild does a lot of charity work . The Guild has made donations to the following institutinons, Guide Dogs Australia, Gimme-Five-For-Kids, Cancer Council, CWA of NSW, Port Macquarie Oncology Unit, Camp Quality, Hastings Valley Toy Library, Parry School, Koala Preservation Society of NSW. Hastings Woodworkers Guild Workshop

We have our Annual Woodworking exhibition each year around September/October ,  and is our major fund raiser.

The Guild has given members (both men & women) a great outlet to share a common interest not only in woodworking but life in general, you never know what will be discussed at the lunch table.

The Guild always welcome new members as each new member always brings something new to the Club.
